We are thrilled to see this special wedding published on a favorite wedding blog, 100 Layer Cake! Check out the full feature here and have a happy weekend.
I just arrived in New York and have closed the wedding season in Spain. We leave for Hawaii in a week and won't return to Spain until next season. It feels good to be visiting friends and family here in the US and I wanted to share a little glimpse into the fun and beauty I was a part of during the amazing summer under the sun.
This is the kind of wedding that everybody wants to be a part of. Laia and Josep were married last September in a gorgeous rural house where friends and family shacked up for the weekend to help out, and, make the party last longer. It was really special to be a part of this personal and beautiful wedding. To see more visit Belle & Chic!
Spain's Revista MIA published a bunch of my photos for a story full of advice for future brides. Neato!
Patricia and Antonio had a very personal and special wedding at the Museo del Traje in Madrid. We also did a preboda/engagement shoot there ... which you can see here. They were inspired by Japan when choosing details and decoration for the day. Patricia made origami cranes for each table setting and ikebana flower arrangements for center pieces. Patricia and Antonio are so sweet together and I feel so lucky they included us in their wonderful celebration.
Sergio and Rosa are this fantastic fun couple that I am so happy to have met.. they live and work right here in Denia, Spain and are fast becoming friends of ours. Needless to say their wedding was simple, beautiful, and very fun. They were married outside at the wonderful Hotel les Rotes in my favorite part of Denia. I am putting up way too many pictures of Rosa.. but isn't she the most beautiful bride? Here are some of my favorites from their special day. Vivan los novios!!
Iñaki and Patricia were married outside Madrid not only once... but twice in one day. They started out with a civil ceremony with immediate family and finished off the day with a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the sierra surrounded by friends and family. Their day was full of emotion, love, and their super cute son Jon. Muchas felicidades y gracias por compartir este dia tan especial con nosostros.
I had never been to Granada, Spain before Carmen and Thomas' wedding. I now have a new favorite Spanish city. Thomas and Carmen live in Germany but chose to wed in Carmen's gorgeous home town. The civil ceremony took place in the pretty gardens at Carmen de la Victoria with none other than the world famous Alhambra as a backdrop. Then guests dined under the palace and partied into the morning. Thanks to the Thomas and Carmen, the Japanese tourists, triplets, and a wandering donkey for extra great photo opportunities. Congratulations to such a beautiful couple!
